Theatre Rentals
Planning your next event? Why not hold it in one of our auditoriums? The Globe Cinema is available for rent. Whether you are planning a business seminar or want to hold a private showing of a film for your school or organization our management will help make your event a success!
We have TWO 378 seat auditoriums. Both theatres have ample space at the front for guest speakers, panels and presentations. The space is ideal for General Meetings, Product Launches, Private Screenings, School tours or screenings, Press conferences, and more!
Each auditorium has a microphone and PA available for use, and our large screens are perfect for power point presentations, videos, or anything else you might want to project to your group.
We have a Digital projector in our lower auditorium available to play DVD’s, and also have the ability to bring in 35mm films should you wish to book a feature film for a screening.
Rates
Prices for rentals vary significantly depending on the time of day, day of the week, and date of the month. Please contact us directly for a ball park quote on your potential rental.
Some very simple guidelines to help you out with pricing are:
- Meeting space (not including use of our Digital Projector) Monday to Friday (excluding Holidays) during the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM is typically $100 per hour (plus tax) to a maximum of $500. This includes use of the space, and microphone and PA.
- Any rental that is to take place in the evening that begins or runs past 6:00 PM (or 12:00 Noon on Saturday and Sunday) is considered a prime time rental, as it requires us to cancel our regularly scheduled show(s) to the public. This is indeed possible, but it is priced slightly higher than off hours rentals. Please contact us for more information.
- The most cost effective times to hold a rental are Mon - Fri from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Other options include Midnight Screenings after 12:00 Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as early morning weekend rentals on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Movies
- To bring in a particular movie for your group also depends on many different factors. The price and availability of particular titles depend largely on what company distributes the film. The price also largely depends on how many people will be in attendance. We can facilitate your request for particular film titles, and contact the distributor for you to inquire about availability and pricing. Contact us for more information.
- If you have your own film, or are the producer or film maker of a particular film that you`d like to view on “The Big Screen”, we can play both DVD and 35mm Formats
Audio Visual Equipment
- As mentioned, we can play both 35mm films, and DVD’s
- If you require a power point presentation for your rental, we can reccomend A/V companies that can meet all your digital presentation needs.
- We run Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound for your listening pleasure. Any film you bring in will sound bigger than life on our cinematic sound system
Popcorn & Refreshments
- We offer Pop and Popcorn packages for your rental. What better way to provide a movie going experience than to treat your guests or employees to the city’s best popcorn! Discounts are available for bulk purchases. Please contact us for more information.
- If you wish to pre purchase concession items for your rental, we can have it prepared at any time. You may request to be invoiced for concession items, or we can arrange to have our snack bar open for cash sales. Please contact us for more information.
